i bought a whole bunch of mint state Eliasberg Mexico 1 peso gold coins at the Eliasberg sale Back in 2006. they were graded by NGC. I wonder how much they would have sold for at this auction had I consigned them. I still have all of them.
Hello Oreville
Just curious as to the dates you purchased at that sale in 2006?

Nearly every one of the more common date 1 peso gold coins. i do not have the list with me.
These are some characteristics I look for ........top pop, off the market for while , low mintage .
This coin had those characteristics.
Johann II 5 Kronen 1900 MS65 NGC, Vienna mint, KM-Y4, Dav-216, HMZ-2-1376b. Mintage: 5,000. The lowest mintage date in the series, and the first year that the denomination was produced for circulation, possessing a marvelous gem finish with a rainbow of hues in the obverse margins.
Ex. Heritage Auction #440 (May/June 2007, Lot 51485)
From the Cape Coral Collection of European Crowns

Thanks @EVillageProwler that it is, except the price!
Almost all the auction houses are run out of good foreign coins to sell. They want co-signment.
I hear some March auctions will be pretty good.

May be just me, but the darker side within my reach had went up double if not more within the past few years.
