Post your ugliest AU-58

I had always thought that AU-58 coins just couldn't look terrible. But then I bought the coin below as a hole-filler:
I realize that eye-appeal is pretty subjective, but still . . .
Anyway, although I've since upgraded to a nice-looking MS-64 sample I'll probably keep this for its educational value.

You win.
Lance.
As an aside - would the 1835 small-date large-5c qualify as an undervalued coin since its total estimated population is only about 250 samples in all grades? I paid less than $200 for my AU-58 a couple of years ago.
I can't think of a reason I'd buy an AU58 that I think is ugly. I have some ugly coins, but they were bought as jokes and for very little.
Here is my ugliest 58.
Very rare in circulated grades. Bought it Feb. 8, 2000 so I've had it close to 20 years. Right click the image and hit view image to see it close up.
Ugly is in the eye of the beholder....
With that said, I do not have any ugly coins (outside of pocket change accumulations).
Cheers, RickO
I think that girl needs a bath!
That half dime looks ripe for a CAC sticker. They love horribly toned coins.
I submitted the ugliest 1999 Wide AM Lincoln cent I could find. Imagine it's just as ugly as yours. No photos or True Views
But it's AU58
Just check out any of the recent AU58 Trade Dollars on Heritage. There is a concerted effort to undermine the prices in that series just based on how they're being graded (obviously I'm being facetious). This trend extends to all UNC and AU grades.

Life is too short to own ugly coins unless they are super rare.
Latin American Collection
But... someone has to own the coin, because it can't just be discarded, right?

I think this is graded correctly, but its design is kind of ugly in my opinion.
Here's my only AU 58 coin!

Interesting thread.
I no longer have the coin but I once had a 1947-D Walker PC 58 rattler that I bought sight unseen in the late 80s that was charcoal black with zero luster and completely terminal.
Hideous.
If I had a picture of it, it would win.
@ricko may have bought it from me.....???
I don't remember.
Well this is my ugliest AU58, what can I say???????
