Thank you Lord for another beautiful day!!!
No coins for me. In fact, nothing for me this year. This was a year to donate to others that are less fortunate as I have all I need.
I donated to Wreaths Across America - to lay wreaths at veterans graves, including three in my family. Have donated for 4 years now.
I also donated to a local charity that gives bicycles to underprivileged kids on Christmas day. My donation probably made 3 or 4 bikes possible.
Donated to a local "pay it forward" program to buy food for needy families.
Lastly, one of my favorites - Toys for Tots.
I get great satisfaction when I think of the children and families that were helped this year.
I will get back to coins in January.

got time [online] w my family
Got a sawzall and a battery/jump/air pump pack and a little money/permission for coins.
The kids had the biggest Christmas ever (and probably for awhile) because my wife found a deal we couldn’t pass up and things inflated from there.
Maybe a little more charity this year than usual, but it’s so hard to tell since the things we usually do weren’t able to happen. Less time, more money?
I’m told that I mentioned sometime this year that I haven’t received a gun for Christmas in 20 years. That one was a Remington 541 T w/ a Leopold variX scope. What says merry Christmas better this year than a 5.56?
Next year I think I’ll mention I’ve been given a double eagle.

This year I received

I told everyone not to get me anything, I have way too much as it is, they got me a few goodies anyways

It felt good to concentrate on making sure everyone around me had an excellent Christmas, My nieces got 2020s Proof eagles and cash... They have a pretty good Silver Stack and Coin collection that I have given them over the past few years
Everyone else I know at least got a phone call or a gift from me, and me letting them know I think about them a lot
He is on my my mind and in my hearth 365 (and leap years 366) days per year every day. Of course God is more important than any material thing in the end it's all his anyway. But it is nice to have a few hobbies while we are here.

To answer the OPs question....
Still, the best thing was having my immediate family safe and together. Priceless.
My favorite gift of the season was from our hospital system and the incredible folks who brought us the Pfizer vaccine - and the science behind mRNA vaccines. After being at the very front line (anesthesia/critical care) of high risk patient care in a hospital that's seen nearly 5000 COVID patients for months on end the arrival of the vaccine was literally emotional for myself and many of my colleagues.
Stay safe everyone.

I know how you feel. Got mine last Saturday (I am Pulmonary/Critical Care) and I feel like there is a light at the end of the tunnel. It was surprisingly emotional reflecting back over the last year. (Though we’ve had way fewer total patients then you - so far.)
We’ve been surging again here in Southern California and I’ve been putting in long hours with young and really sick (eg ECMO) COVID patients. My wife is Anesthesia critical care like you and her group is intubating all these folks.
So, great to have 48 hours off with the kids. And hopefully can start to worry a little less in a few days as the vaccine kicks in!
My current "Box of 20"
My family thinks I'm off the charts at Christmas because there's one rule I follow.
Everyone must get 1 Toy under the tree.
Me, I received a Hyper Strike compound bow.
Its really cool, the arrows don't load from the notch, they load behind the tip, which is shaped like an egg.
ME GREAT HUNTER... Na, just have to dodge those funny looking Nerf set ups.
My wife is supportive of my hobby/obsession and found some pewter replicas of coins on Etsy. Here they are next to the originals:
Latin American Collection
Nothing coin related.... Firearm related stuff....Mag holders, super cleaning kit, ammo can (personalized)... and other goodies. Oh yeah, a neat deck of cards. Fun times and calls from the daughters. Cheers, RickO
$400 cash and the newest Braun electric toothbrush.
Does it have a guitar option?

DJI drone....fun photography accessory
I gifted myself earlier this month. I've been getting into airgun shooting lately. It's just a little bit of a quiet style. This is a .177 caliber and the pellet travels just under the speed of sound, so there's no sonic blast. Until you hear the sound of hitting the target, you almost wouldn't know you're shooting.

My daughter thought I needed a full auto BB gun for Christmas.

Nice. Is the issuer of the replicas known?
That's some daughter!
Does she have one for herself too?
Three bars of chocolate, the day with my family, and a very sweet nap with my cat.

Generally I only ask for things for my son instead of me. You reach a point in life, sometimes, when you can afford what you want and it’s hard for people to find you things. Although this year my mom got me a nice $5 Confederate bank note so that was really nice and much appreciated.
TurtleCat Gold Dollars
11.5$ Southern Dollars, The little “Big Easy” set
My kids know me too well....refill time

Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.
I was given the best news ever..... the news that more little ones will be coming to join our family in the upcoming months. Couldn't ask for anything better!
Well I didn't get anything coin related but my wifey bought me a couple things to help find some coins. A new Garrett AT Pinpointer and some new digging tools and a Garrett waist bag to carry most of it. Lol

I received a few shirts from my wife.
My dad used to tell me that I needed to find a good woman, one that bought me shirts. He was right.
This was my only numismatically related gift. It's currently in limbo awaiting delivery.
What, No "Top Pocket"?
Lumps of coal............... same as every year............

The complete Official Red Book Guide Book Series #1-22 (just missing #23)
It's a very small accomplishment, but it satisfies the selective OCD I have.
After years of selective asking, I received the next to last one - at least numerically/for now - this year from my sister-in-law. #17 Guide Book of Hard Times Tokens. (I would ask for 1 or 2 of these books for Christmas every year. It was a good way to fill out a Christmas list and get some relatives involved a tiny bit in the hobby. These requests were fine as long as I provided the link, ISBN number, etc. )
I've dug into a few chapters of the Hard Times Token book already. Gotta find #23 whatever she is, and carve out some more reading time. The real accomplishment will be to get them all read cover to cover!
