Does Lady Liberty sit on all coin denominations?
Silver specimens by William Barber were sold as part of complete silver sets.

I've never seen those. I'd love to have one.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
I have never seen one before either. I like using the USPatterns.com Pattern Concordance but that's easier to use when you know exactly what you're looking for than exploring or browsing. Having these on Heritage has been a treat.
They are certainly beautiful examples of those tiny coins. Thanks for posting them. Cheers, RickO
The HA photos have a significantly different perspective. It's nice to compare.

Edit: Both are up for auction:

There are some 1849 pattern trimes which are even closer to the Liberty Seated design.
They use the obverse die from the 1849 V-8 half dime.

P.S. These are just examples of pattern trimes from PCGS CoinFacts.
I don't know exactly which examples of these Bob Simpson may have or still has in his collection.
Way cool design, love it.
But doesn’t that PR65 have some obverse issues at 9 o’clock rim and fields? And the PR66 seems like it has a lot of polish lines for the grade.
I would it be the same diameter as a half dime but less weight? Coinfacts doesn't give a diameter.

Heritage's close up photos are great. I'm debating whether to add them or not, mostly because it's more work
It is the same diameter as a half dime.
I believe the plan was to use a 50% silver alloy to reduce the silver content.
However, apparently restrikes were made in 90% silver, probably with the normal half dime planchets.

Just what I need, something else to wish I had.
Had they coined those, I would bet a much larger following for the series would have resulted.
I agree with @Smudge.

Simpson also had a J-796 PR66 (Silver /Plain) Edge and the Copper version J-798 PR66RB (Plain edge) in part 1 & 2 of the auction. I always thought these trimes were neat and one finally one came up for auction a few years ago ... a J-799 PR65RB w/ CAC (reeded edge version) so I bid on it and won. I think a great looking copper piece.
While these samples are mostly High R.6 or low R.7 (except the Aluminum strikes) ... they seem seldom in auctions. Then Bob turns around and auctions his collection off and now we have several bites at the apple to pick a sample up. If I did not already have my liberty seated trime pattern I would have bid one of these.

That's a great looking coin! I really like copper patterns because they let us see coins with different looks. Congrats for picking it up!
How have those eluded my attention for so many years?
They are cool!
Why the mint doesn’t go back to these designs on moderns is a mistake. Imagine the beautiful of Liberty on a modern nickel with a simple V on the reverse. Or a quarter with XXV on the reverse. Do you think it might lure a new generation of YN’s?
"I spent 50% of my money on alcohol, women, and gambling. The other half I wasted.
It's up to Congress, not the Mint.
For NCLT, Congress authorized 2021 Morgan and Peace dollars so it's happening.
For circulating coins, Congress tried but failed. I haven't heard or seen anyone supporting Congress in this so the bill's failure isn't that surprising.
