When will Waffle Cancelled pattern coins be straight graded by PCGS and CAC?

The US Mint has been cancelling patterns like the following.
It would be great if PCGS and CAC straight-graded these.

Not sure how they would grade such coins, however, they do grade error coins - so should be considered. Cheers, RickO
I'm pretty sure that both services won't ever
'grade' Waffles.....but they've changed their
minds/positions before........

Yea, but J-269 is more like classy French Toast
than are the Modern Waffles !
There are plenty of waffle cancelled coins in both PCGS and NGC holders currently on eBay, but not with grades other than "Brilliant Uncirculated." PCGS uses the no-grade code 89 for these. This isn't shown on their list of no-grade codes, so maybe it's a "not really a grade" code.
