Looks AT to me with a ton of photo enhancement, but that’s my opinion.

I have never though that the John Flannigan version of the Washington Quarter was “beautiful” no matter what you did to it. The reverse was cluttered and dull, and the obverse was predictable mainly because it had to come from a specific source, the Hodan (sp) bust of Washington.

Some of the reverse designs for the State Quarters and later coins have been quite good.

I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

Would you change your mind if the coin was copper?

Not really. We have been taken to the woodshed for admiring blue toned copper coins because they were said to be treated with a chemical. The neon blue on this piece looks as natural as Astro turf.

I always thought that nobody loved blue toning more than me....... but even for me that's a bit much.

Although I would like to see it in person.

Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

A bit much color, or grade or price?

It's graded NGC PF68RB and recently sold for $3,600.

The Heritage glamour shots tend to be really contrasty and oversaturated, and this is no exception. The shots in the slab are much more realistic.

The images from @Zoins look like copper plus MS70 plus heat plus image saturation.

Agree on the Heritage Auction photos. Very doctored IMHO. Here's a coin I bought with HA's pics first, and mine second:

I am much more likely to purchase a coin that looks like your second picture. I at least have some confidence I know what it will look like in hand.
