Well... another acquisition and the set continues to progress toward the magic number of 20...
I don’t even have this piece in my hands yet, but will in a few short weeks, but she is in super steady hands with a special special thanks to Pickwickjr as well as Crusty for both spotting and securing this fantastic piece for my set !!! Thank you guys so much. Good friends are so hard to find.

I will tell you all too, that its moments like this that I look forward to as it is very slow moving in between acquisitions at times and goes in spurts... but the set progresses forward now with 12 !!!

...and yes, I absolutely am proud of this set and love to watch it as it grows. Its such a hard task, but that makes it that much more rewarding as well! Definitely keeps my attention and when things are slow on posting, I work on my 10 year old son’s type set with him, which is also a blast!!!
It is an investment for sure, but I believe its a worth while one. Your thoughts? Do you think its a good collecting strategy or no?

Why only 20 coins?
Is it to create a "box of 20" or is their another reason?
Will any Liberty double eagle in an OGH with a gold CAC bean sticker qualify for inclusion in your collection?
Or do you have a list of dates and mint marks that comprise your collection and collecting goal?
The hobby is versatile and a collection can be whatever a collector desires it to be.
