I saw Richard Harris in 'Camelot' when he came here in the early 80's. That was a special show.
I also saw Yul Brenner in the 'King and I'. Boy, the curtains opened up and there he was, mid-stage, hands on his hips. It kinda took your breath away.
At the time, I had a nice early set of Siamese coins at the shop. I sent them to him as he was here in town for three weeks. Shortly thereafter, I got a nice letter from his secretary thanking me. She said he keeps the coins on his dressing table and uses them to help get into character while making up......
