It’s whimsical and very nostalgic for me. I can’t help but smile when I see it, kudos to the designer! Like the bat quarter from earlier this year it’s a lot of fun.

It is very cool. The turbine generators from Lowell were very innovative as well, which were implicitly honored on the Mass ATB quarter.

couldn't agree more - one of my favorites so far - have considered buy a couple extra rolls to put some in circulation so other can enjoy - would be a trip to see these pop up in change

how did you order one today if they don't go on sale until mon?
I ordered mine earlier than today, I got it on Saturday and ordered it about a week and a half ago. I just meant me too that I ordered one and like the design a lot. Only mine was in a set with the other innovation dollars dated 2020.

I actually like a fair number of the coins in this series. It is not a loved series overall, but I think it is fun and interesting. It's just a little unfortunate that there is not a cheaper way to collect these for kids. While the Presidential dollars never quite caught on as actual money, the fact that they were out there at banks meant that parents and children could put together sets for only $1 per coin.
It might have been better if they had used these as a new quarter series or something that would be out in circulation.
