I can't see how the red bit in the middle wouldn't be called environmental damage, so I'd say Unc details. A straight grade would be no better than 62. I don't see wear, but eye appeal is not good.
I dunno, looks MS with issues to me. The great reverse strike doesn't match the appearance of the central, lower obverse. It's looks like an enormously bad grease-filled die, but if so it's a borderline error coin (to my way of thinking). In any case, as a type guy, this isn't a coin that would tempt me in the slightest.
I wouldn't attempt to guess the grade based on that pic.

Why not? It looks like a pretty good image.
I studied the image and I was split between a high end AU or a low end MS. Based on that pic I would have to flip a coin. I guess that's why it's called "guess the grade".

I wonder if that’s not a defective planchet given the discoloration.
I’m fine with an MS grade, but that’s right on the border of what should probably be described as an error coin.

Shame, all we ask for as Collectors is consistency. These are well off the norms that are already out there. Beautiful undergraded coins.

To me, there’s a big difference between saying an image “looks pretty good” and based on it, guessing a grade, vs. concluding from an image that a coin has been under-graded (or over-graded).

If it's straight graded, I'd guess MS62BN

coinfacts or trueview?
You guys are good, especially Mr. Feld. It's a 62 but with that strike and that discolored blight I couldn't pay Unc money.

I was trying to cheat and didn't see it in CF

Recolored?
Looks like it was struck through GREASE!!

62 filled die.
I would have guessed 63BN, filled die.
64+bn n-? 7/7
neat find @savoyspecial
Low end does not float my boat.
I would guess (and it would be a wild guess) Unc details.
MS63BN.

Strange looking obverse...I would guess grease filled die... Nice reverse.... Cheers, RickO
