Not everyday you see this affordable key date for the budget collector

Considering how times are tough and numismatics is out of reach for more than before its always encouraging to see a piece on the market that is affordable for most collectors, while corroded there is a lot of meat and detail.

"Corrosion but still lots of Detail"
Wow.....should have said...little to no detail with lot of corrosion
Not my cup of tea

What?
Not for me either. Very little detail.

There's no Easter Bunny, either. And the coin will end up going to someone who is happy to get it.
Not bad!
At least they know what they are getting, not much. If they are happy with that, sobeit.

Must have been one hell of a metal detecting find is my guess...once in a lifetime spot. I would work that area over good after finding a coin like that- too bad about soil condition and the corroision it caused. Definately spent alot of time in the ground.
I don't know. I'm thinking that coin would make a cool pocket piece.
and lose what detail it has left?
Fugley, I would not own it.
I would love to find one of those while metal detecting... even in that condition. It is certainly possible in the area I live now. But alas, no luck so far. Cheers, RickO
@lcutler
It will be interesting to see where it ends, I hope whoever purchases it enjoys it!
There is a free lunch, however...
My coin budget could be down to $100 and I’d still pass.
