I picked up this NGC Sample. Have no idea as to value or which one it is but I thought it sure looked nice for a MS60
.
.If anyone can shed some light as to which sample and value I would be super grateful
.
.
.
And, I just couldn't resist a Half Disme silver commemorative medal.....need the gold one now.

Don’t own a single white coin, with the exception of the new ones in my pocket! 😱

From the 2017 Denver ANA Show, only 19 made.
2 fun series with nice toned and untoned examples
@coinsarefun
The original sample slab website has two listed (NGC 3 and NGC 4)
http://www.sampleslabs.com/ngc.html
I've seen several and they range from $60-$100 (with some outliers in both directions). CAC will sticker these based on if they meet the MS 60 grade. I've seen some with a Gold CAC and those bring a further premium (if I recall correctly, there was one that sold somewhere between $200-$250).

Wow! That's awesome and the first I've seen!
If anyone ever wants to post an example of a FSB "Winged Liberty" dime check out JRocco's example.
I always like everything you post.
Mr_Spud
Of course, many of my coins are blast white.... This one will fit the bill nicely... Cheers, RickO

White coin, white rattler.
I've owned several of those NGC samples over the years - most are much nicer than MS60.
That's really neat. It says "Private Issue". Do you know who issued it?
@Zoins I couldn’t find out who issued. I would love to find out who the engraver was.
I would be so disappointed if it was computer die cut

Why would you be disappointed if a computer cut the dies? I thought you loved the Intaglio Mint / Limited Mintage pieces and they are all computer die cut. Is that not true?
I'm guessing the probability of these being computer die cut is over 98%. My understanding is that even dies made from plasters are often computer die cut these days.
.
.
I do like a few from Intaglio Mint. I’m also aware that almost everything is computer drawn and cut.
I guess I’m getting old and nostalgic as I would like to know one or two designs that I love was
cut by hand.
.
Brings me to a thought/question.......was GMM one of the last to cut the dies by hand?

PS @Zoins don't get me wrong, I’m not against cad designs as all of my homes and remodeling I have
done in the last 10-15 years have been cad. It also aided me in getting my thoughts and designs across
to the buyer. The 3D drawings have really come a long way.

Perhaps at scale, but it's certainly still done today though more as one-offs from what I've seen.
