I'll explain. I had a relative who died by IED in Afghanistan the same time I was deployed at a different location. I think I literally carried his body onto another aircraft enroute to the US. It was around this time of the year. Ive tried to get around it by posting things that I enjoy but everyone seems to "get on me" about what I post. They dont like how many GTG's I post when it's slow. They say I'm complaining about the forum. They say I'm trying to take over by posting so much. Seriously, what gives? Is there nothing in your life that you can be thankful for?
I love you AlanSki in a coin collecting bro way! People complain about me also and I get a bunch of nastygrams. I think the forum has a bunch of complainers who don't like change or new members. I'm pretty sure this image sums up the majority of older members here:

You have some great coins to share and gtg happen to be one of my favorite posts. I think some people have spent a lot of time in their homes this year and it isn’t good for anyone. Whether it was in a war zone, or cleaning dishes in Kansas at a military base, we owe you more than you us. I try to always keep in mind that any internet forum or other social media is chock full of keyboard warriors.

This is the best coin forum going, hang on and learn and take your time. You are certainly as welcome here as anyone.
Thanks AlanSki, look forward to the buffs. Like was said by another forum member, if you put up with the Air Force for 20 years you should be able to breeze by the few complainers(and there are a few, sometimes more than a few). Just ignore and realize how many, many others enjoy your comraderie. I was also in the Air Force from 68-72. Loved it but not my next station so I got out, big mistake.
Take care and enjoy this wonderful group of very knowledgeable coin collectors.
Jim
Edited to add: BTW, I hope you do take advantage of the Registry or at least the Collectors showcase registry. I, for one, would love to see your collections up close and personal.

Haven't noticed any negativity either. I haven't posted in any but every thread of yours I've opened has had a nice looking coin in it. Just because you're not getting replies or feedback doesn't mean your posts aren't being enjoyed don't overthink things just post how you like and forget about the rest.
People have been complaining about the forum being "boring".
