I never thought this rack would happen but it has!! A beautiful Staubach Rookie TOP in all its Glory!!! Cowboys NFC Semi-Final Game card and HOF'er Jackie Smith to boot.
As a kid growing up Roger was the man. "Captain America" is who you wanted to be in a scrap game of football.
Just unbelievable and humbling at the same time.

I asked Steve (BBCE) if he has ever seen another 72 Rack with Staubach on Top. He told me he has seen a lot of them. However, they have all been homemade garbage except for this one!!
One of my favorite pickups of ALL TIME.
Not sure why no one has mentioned this, but your rack actually has incredible extra value to it if you’re a Steelers fan. Jackie Smith was the guy who dropped Staubachs perfect throw in the end zone that would have given the Cowboys the Super Bowl victory against the Steelers. I was the one who put the lol because when I saw Smith next to Roger, I remember as a Steelers fan being thrilled that Jackie dropped that perfect throw. It’s like TOPPS knew in 1972 that those two would hook up one day in one of the Super Bowls biggest blunders.
Now all you need is a 1973 rack with Franco Harris, Frenchy Fuqua, and Tatum on top. Imagine the value of that rack if it existed.
