I’d love to see any that other folks have! These are all silver proofs— pretty much the only coins that toned.

The Dansco tones my state quarters in a complete random manner— some have no toning at all. And it’s mostly devices rather than the rim.

The toning is where you would touch the coin to push into the page. Coincidence?
For the record, some of mine have the same toning. I use gloves when I insert them but maybe I transferred something.

Yeah, those coins don't look like your typical Dansco toning...at least to me they don't.

I have some that toned in the OPG, maybe from the red insert. Last time I looked (maybe 9 years ago) they were not appealing.
That’s a really good take because all of the 2001s have the same toning. I just don’t remember what I used 19 years ago to push them in— usually a cotton or rubber glove.
I think I used rubber gloves for a while too until I found cotton ones.
