Only caveat - no Morgans please. I'm a year older and must limit my small irritations accordingly
Don't forget to explain why you like the example shared please.

Edited to add: Happy birthday!! Where are my manners lol.
My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Happy Birthday Catbert!
Here is one of my favorites. It came from the Newman collection so I know the toning was from years spent in the envelope. I love the color and the fact that I have a "big sister" -1895-O half from the same collection. It obviously has the focal blue toning but the delicate golden toning around the rims highlight it and is gorgeous in-hand.
@Catbert.... Happy Birthday Catbert.... and here is one I found this week walking in a field. Cheers, RickO

Happy Birthday!
While this is a restrike, this design has basically been used (with some minor changes) since the 18th century. It's a piece of history and was even used in commerce in multiple countries. The color enhances the beauty of the design.
Happy Birthday!
Here is one of my favorite bust halves, which just so happens to also be my avatar.
It’s an 1824 Over Various Dates Redbook variety, graded PCGS AU58.
It’s totally prooflike with some of the most amazing toning I’ve ever seen on a bust half, and I was able to cross it from it’s NGC AU58* holder.

Happy birthday! I’m limited on toned coins. I guess this is toned.

I love this example, southern, it’s gold, and completely original!

Happy Birthday!!
I love this one because it’s one of the finest toned (and highest graded non-RD) Memorials in existence (MS67+RB).
Like the Charter Oak, we 60-something guys seem to gain a little diameter around the midsection every year...
Happy Birthday!!
Because it's one of the best oil slick BN toned rainbow proof lincoln memorials I've seen.

In spite of the ding, I like the color.

Oh yeah, Happy Birthday.
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday Catbert!

Here's a matching red parking lot find
Oh yea! I like it for the red toning because even though it's toned it still gets an RD.
Best wishes!!
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday Kinda' Grumpy Old Man!!!
Because it's purdy...
U.S. Type Set
Happy Birthday! Capturing this coin is certainly beyond my photography skills, but the luster coming through the toning makes me really like it in hand.

Happy Birthday!
I like this because it was one of the last holes I needed to fill the 1920s decade, and I bought it raw.
!
I picked this coin because it's old (and cool!).
Happy Birthday, Catbert!
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday @Catbert !
I like the toning on this circulated CBH.
You get a flash of hidden luster and various colors at every minor angle.
It always surprises me and it's one I enjoy a lot.

First of all have a very happy birthday and I hope you celebrate it like no ther as we

all know this year has been a trying year for everyone for various reasons beyond political.
Secondly, this is a wallpaper I created this quite some time back and the reason I like it is because it took
me many years to find the right toned example of each one and together make a very pleasing toned type set. One day it will be finished......years to come

Here’s an array of toned seated quarters....what’s not to like?
A common coin but the toning is just fantastic:

This is heading to PCGS for a crossover attempt, so hopefully I will have Trueviews to share at some point.

Happy birthday!
I just love the intense color on these two. And on my favorite series, too!
Happy birthday
Here’s a coin I like the color strike and luster. In my eyes it’s the bomb.

Happy Birthday!
Happy birthday you old cat! Some nice coins here!!!!
I've been a half dime guy for a long time, being lured to them over the fascination of the detail they managed to fit on these tiny discs starting in the 1700s. This particular one I like in this low grade because I enjoy pondering how much it was used. Who spent it? Was it carried by a soldier in the Civil War? I wish this one could talk.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

Boy, your not kidding check this one out.

Happy Birthday! For the "17th" I have loved this Quarter since I saw her quite a few years ago. She was also one of the first bstch I sent for crossover. Great strike and nice tone.

Happy Birthday buddy! 🎂✨
This one has nice cameo that is trumped by its super color.
One of my favorites; have always loved the Blues. Oh, and a very Happy Birthday!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Hope you have a fantastic day. Enjoy, it's your DAY.

Just picked this coin out of 6, in a 58d roll. I like this coin because of it's toned line appearance. Probably, an end roll with tape, I'm guessing? Anyway, have a nice BD. You don't look a day over 20. Lol

Happy Birthday, Catbert. Lot's of great toners posted here for your birthday party.
The colors on this one remind me of birthday wrapping paper.

Happy Birthday Cat'!
The story of my Barber Quarters is kind of sad, but this was the very first one, and amazingly, was not with most the others that fateful day, so it is special to me, in more ways than one.
Hope you had a great day today!!

Really appreciate all the well wishes and your many wonderful toners! Eye candy!
"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
Happy birthday! I wish I’d thought to post something like that on my birthday this past weekend! I’ve always liked the early Barber quarters with the mintmark off to the right.
witty quote goes here
From the Dr. Charles Link collection, earlier in the Frederick collection, as noted on the PCGS label. He wrote (in July 1980), “Easily the finest known of this very rare variety. Beautifully toned and choicely preserved, AU/AU+.”
Today, O.122 R5. AU58+.
Lance.
Happy birthday, buddy!
I hope you had a great day!
This is my best toner!
I like it not simply, because it's a Walker, but because I love yellow and this is a beautiful, golden, orangish example. It is the most vivid colored coin that I own of any type. Walkers with any type of color are quite rare, as we both know. I also like it, because it's in my favorite type of NGC holder---the 3.0 with the gold foil on the back. Oh, and it's a CAC gem, too!
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍
