Wondering if this is genuine. Couldn't find anything about that year and counterfeits, and I'm not familiar with these coins nor their packaging.

im no expert but i sent a 1990 panda coin in the same packaging to our host's and it came back MS69 i thought it would have came back as a deep cameo proof but nope. Anyways i love the coin!
Better pics would help but what can be seen in these ones all looks like a real panda/packaging

Looks legit.
Appears to be genuine.... worth submitting for a slab and authentication.... Unless you are just converting to cash. Still, the slab would probably result in a better price. Cheers, RickO
Don't think worth submitting considering that looks to be a 1/20 oz so time/cost not a good return, looks genuine. Best to sell as-is in original packaging f want to part with it.
Thanks all. Was questioning a bit. To me it looks to be a bit thicker viewed on edge than a comparable 1/20th maple.

Man the design on this one looks pretty… Winnie the Pooh-ish
What did China do for the fractional issues when they started making the 30 gram coins instead of 1 oz. coins?
15 grams instead of 1/2 oz?
7 1/2 grams instead of 1/4 oz?
3 grams instead of 1/10 oz?

I knew it would happen.
8 grams instead of .25 troy oz FYI.
8 grams??
If going by grams you'd think 5 or 10.
8??
Oh, never mind!
8 is their favorite lucky number...
Forgot about that
