Gorgeous! And it merits a CAC too! Just one of 11 with a CAC out of 70 in this grade MS65RB (47 PCGS, 23 NGC)!

    Enjoy!

    A nice looking BN Unc.

1919-S cents should be well struck. A large hoard of uncirculated 1919-S cents appeared on the market back in the early to mid 1980s. Most of those were blazing full red at the time they were sold.

I am quite pleased with it. I was actually looking for a lower grade option to put in a set when I came across this one. Made an offer and boom, it found a permanent home.

Despite it being a high mintage date/mint, it's a bugger to find one in high grade. Nice coin!

Back in my coin hunting days (1961-1963) I found many 1919-S cents in the Chicago area. Most were well worn.

I think when you buy a cent like that one, and then you stop and look in the mirror, you start to know you know a little bit about what your doing. :p

As everyone has said, it's just an outstanding example for the issue. <3

    Congrats!
