My Purchase from the Brent Pogue Library Sale
In the recent Stack's Bowers sale of the D. Brent Pogue numismatic library, I was successful in purchasing one lot. I knew that I had to have at least one item from the Pogue collection/library and am glad that this was the one item. The lot was Pogue's copy of George Frederick Kolbe's sale of the Harry W. Bass Jr. Library. It is a softbound four volume set that included the prices realized lists. Also included was Pogue's bidding card for two of the sales! Interesting to note is that several of the catalogs have hand written price annotations that Pogue wrote next to the lots! I am thrilled to be able to add these to my numismatic library. The catalogs just arrived and here are some quick pictures that I took:

Nice.
Definitely a cool lot, and one that appears to be in superb condition. Congratulations on the win!
Congrats! A very nice addition and one that you can imagine Pogue pouring over as he sought out the best for his collection.
