Mine has to be the 1913 Liberty nickel.
When the missing fifth one re-surfaced 15 or so years ago, I was pretty excited.
I don't know why I find it so attractive, I just do.
I can see where you would like Franklin halves. He was a cool guy !
To collect: Franklins and Mercs.
Overall, when dreaming: probably the Gobrecht dollar
The morgan dollar, in particular the 1885-CC because of it's low mintage and relatively low price.
It's a 3-way tie between the Myddelton Token and the Large Planchet Massachusetts Pine Tree Shilling and the Fugio. I cannot pick just one favorite.

I like early gold. This is a 1795 $5 gold piece. I looked for one of these coins for many years. Most of the pieces I saw had problems, but the prices were still very high. Finally I spotted this piece at big show, had the money and bought it. It's among my favorite coins. This small eagle design was on the only one I didn't have in the U.S. series on any coin.
I know that this coin is way beyond what you are colleting as a young person, but when I was your age coin dealers showed me coins like this so that I could get to know them. I couldn't afford them then, but the day did come when I could.
I remember one of the first gold dollars I ever saw was an 1853 from the Dahlonega Mint. (pronounced Dah - lon - E - ga) My mother's cleaning lady had it. I was 11 years old at the time. I'll never forget how tiny the coins were and that special "D" mint mark that was on the reverse of one of them.
Dahlonega was a tiny U.S. mint that was located in a north Gerogia town that is still thriving today. The mint was closed at the beginning of the Civil War and was used as a college. The college is still there, but the building burned down in the late 1870s. Here is the only known picture of it.
I could never buy that piece from the cleaning lady because it was a family heirloom, but I did get one when I was an adult.

Agree, especially the MCMVII High Relief St. Gaudens which many consider to be the most beautiful regular issue US coin.

I'm losing it.
To be honest, I like them all. I can't say I have a favorite.
Just saying ‘Walkers’ is too simple, so I will elaborate:
-Early Walking halves
-Standing Liberty quarters
-Key and semi-key Morgans
-Seated Coinage
-My dream coin has always been the Draped bust 1804 $.
PS-I used to like capped bust halves, also. They were real sleepers but, now, are becoming very, very expensive. I wish I had bought more back in the day. Well, I guess one can’t have everything.....

Congratulations on collecting Franklins, they are a great series!!! They are my favorite series to collect.
My favorite design is the Draped Bust Heraldic Eagle (DBHE), and I'd love to collect them in UNC if I had the money.
U.S. Type Set
We should show our latest YN a photo. It is a very impressive coin.
Morgan Dollars, all of them.

No doubt mine is the high relief St Gaudens but I’m also partial to the British Sovereign.

Mine is, without question, the mighty 1913 type 1 Buffalo nickel🇺🇸🇺🇸

Yes really. I have more than my fair share.
My favorite is the Flying Eagle cent.
Are you putting together an album of Franklins, Landon?
AKA Pakasmom
i only have 2
If you had a Franklin album, do you think that's something you'd be interested in trying to fill?
It's a good series to start with and you can get most of them, in nice condition, without having to spend a lot of money.

The mighty Two Cent Piece is the best......

I like 20th century coins and sets, specifically Washington quarters and Roosevelt dimes. Here are a few lookers!

this is not facebook
I read you have a Facebook account and you also stated you are 12.
I just don't want to see you get in trouble is all.
You seem like a good kid.
ok
I don’t have a favorite yet. Currently working on the Lincoln series and once that is complete I have no idea what’s next. It just depends on what catches my eyes first .
I do have several graded Franklins I wouldn’t mind parting with. Especially for a good cause. PM me a good shipping address and I’ll ship you a few.
Check with your folks first to see if they have a P.O. box they may not want you giving out your address.
BLUE COPPER
and GREEN COPPER too
Obviously GOD prefers copper for His canvas. RED copper is much tooooo man made.
