Just got the latest mass mailing ebay credit card offer:

"Variable Purchase APR is 19.99%, 23.99% or 26.99%."

Guess they didn't get the FED memo.

Says more about your credit score than it does about the Fed 😉

Do they offer you bonus bucks when you purchase on ebay?

    Offer details.

Understand that the card's "earned points" are not the same as earned dollars. Do the math to realize it is misleading. I prefer the simpler, more open card offers that specify a percentage rebate on a purchase total.

Yep pathetic, 1,500 points = $10. That first year bonus 5x points, so you'd have to spend $300 (On eBay) to earn $10. Equivalent to just over 3x bucks.......And you have to spend $1,000 to get there first. No thanks.

Why not wait until they increase it to $500?

Well, they do collect fees from sellers, why not go ahead and figure out a way to collect them from buyers?

That's why we call it "Fee Bay". You and erroroncoins love it, I did decades ago but can't understand it now (as a seller). As a buyer it was still wonderful (Until split with pay pall bill me later, cancellation of ebay bucks, outrageous premiums, russian scammers/counterfeiters etc.) All that plus current premiums makes eBay an absolute terrible place for buyers. Don't even waste my time there anymore,

I haven’t purchased anything from eBay in quite a while and that is surprising for me to say given that years ago I found it helpful in my pursuit of bullion.
Now, I can go to the dealers website and pay less. Or even better, the BST.

I am amazed how many times you can buy from the 'big boys' cheaper on eBay than you can their own websites. I figure those are safe...

There are no fees, other than state taxes, for buyers....All you have to do exercise just a little bid of caution, check to see where the item is located. I've been buying & selling on the bay for 20 years and have not run into any counterfeits or questionable items. As the saying goes: Caveat emptor.....
