This morning I made a very strong offer on a coin .....

Split a deal with a friend in 2013 and forgot that I had the coin, not him.

How stupid is that?? :D:D

    Last night I rushed to the post office to mail back an important prepaid mailer that was mailed to me to return to them.

    Today the mailman leaves that same envelope/package in my mail box.

    Now I look closely at it, it is addressed to me. In my rush to get to the PO by 5 PM. I had accidentally resealed and sent back the original envelope they had sent to me.

    DUH

    Well now... after reading those two events, I feel good....I may be getting old, but still not in the 'forgetful' stage.... Well, once in a while, I forget to pick up an item at the supermarket - I do not write lists. I know I do not remember every coin I have, but that would clutter up my brain.... :D That way I occasionally get surprises when checking my coin cabinets..... ;) Other than that, my shipmates call me Rick-o-Pedia, since when they forget things during our weekly chats or reunions, or are looking for some information, they ask me, and I have the answers (most of the time).     I had heard the mail lady drive up, and went out to get the mail as she drove away. When I saw the package was back, I swung into action to readdress the envelope by crossing out my name and addy, an rushed into my car to find her while she's still around. I caught her and asked her if this package that now looks like it's been through WW2 is okay to get delivered. She looks at it and gets a sour lemon look on her face, and said, " you opened it, I don't think it's good, but I'll take it and ask the customer service ladies at the PO. I thanked her and said if there's any charge, let me know.

    It gets worse. Ricko will feel even better after hearing this.

    Now things have calmed down, and I go through my office waste basket for a second time, and find the proper return mailer.

    I was too embarrassed to track her down again.

    Well, I know what I paid for it ($425) and offered $1750! :D
