    A "squeeze job" where two coins were put in a vise and squeezed together to create a fake mint error.

    Agree that it's a "vise job". I used to do stuff like that when I was a kid using my Grandfather's bench vise.

    Yep... That is a 'vise job'...PMD... Not a mint error. We see that several times a year here on the forum. Cheers, RickO

    It's a "vise job," or a "coin to coin" stituation.

    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals.
