My favorite modern coin. Just completed a 1932-64 set in ms. It was easy, inexpensive, and fun! Beautiful coins. I like everything WASHINGTON. Greatest man ever! HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! THE FATHER OF OUR COUNTRY......GOD BLESS HIS MEMORY....AND GOD BLESS THE U.S.A.
Its a great set to collect, but unfortunately, they don't all look like that. Great example! Its a long series to collect, especially if you add the clad and proof issues.
It's funny you should mention the Washington Quarter. My recent acquisition was this eye candy George that kept calling my name! Lol Washingtons are so much fun to go through. For me, mainly because of all the variety aspect, Like mentioned above.

This has always been my favorite. Started collecting late date silver bu’s as a kid. Couldn’t afford anything bigger in that condition. Still love them best.

Very nice. Are you doing a set?
Thinking about it, total new area for me.
Beautiful example!
“We are only their care-takers,” he posed, “if we take good care of them, then centuries from now they may still be here … ”

Even the circulated ones are kinda cool.
Nice example, great toning. If these are the kind of pieces you like we may find ourselves in competition!
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
That's a beautiful coin!
I love this series, as well, but it can be tough to find and acquire superb pieces.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Don't forget some of the huge doubled dies to be found in this series.

Circulation strike silver Washington quarters are great to collect.
So are the clads from 1965 to 1998.
Then you also have proof silver Washingtons from 1936 to 1964. They offer a wide variety of looks including toned proofs and Cameo proofs.
Nice looking Washington! It's a fun series to collect. Watch out, it can be addicting!
U.S. Type Set
I think the obverse is very attractive. The reverse? Not so much. Too crowded IMHO.
Lovely coin! GW was the man.
Nice coin and the '32 to '64 is a great series....Plus they are silver. In MS, quite achievable... PR would be a bit more demanding.... Cheers, RickO
That's a nice '47S. It looks like a mint set coin !

Ah, my birth year. A little crusty around the edges, just like me. I like it!
