Very nice collection. Which Blanton's is that in the sack? Looks like the 'S'(?)

Been looking at Weller, been told to stay away from the 12(?)

Curious, why were you told to stay away from Weller 12 year? Maybe the price? It's supposed to be very similar to Pappy Van Winkle and uses the same mashbill.

I'm 10 years sober this year and only stock isopropyl alcohol these days.

We just found some bottles of scotch leftover from our wedding in 2010. I had already significantly slowed down my drinking by that point. I guess we were given a lot and I must've just not cared enough to remember.

I cant imagine in this world right now throwing them away. they'd all be down the drain if today was Sept 2019.

Traded a bottle for these & dropping them at the post office tomorrow. They told me half a year ago to stop but they keep accepting them and saying thanks.

I got a pretty good idea what I'm doing with the rest of the booze.

    Answer,
"It’s like flat cola, and hard to get. The other Wellers offer a wider and more Satisfying flavor profile."

Woof, that was harsh, but he knows his stuff.

I have tried single malt scotch and it hasn't floated my boat.
So I stick to Canadian Whisky most of the time.
What do I stash? Hibiki when I can get it.

Big fan of Single Malt Scotch ... Benriach 10yr is my personal fav ...some can be too peaty for my taste.
Reyka Vodka, voted best all around for BMs, I keep around for making bloody mary's (Major Peters Mix..spicy) I also make my own spicy pickle wedges...habanero level+
Variety of Berentzen, German, schnapps, Apple is the fav.
Bourbon gets me in trouble so Old No. 7 is regulated to making cooking sauces and other cheaper ones for brine turkeys.
Berentzen, German, Apple Bourbon ... not overly sweet 30%...great on the rocks.
Like many Tequilas but currently have ... Milargo, Reposado.
Current brew is: Sam Adams Oktoberfest...only 3 cases left, Cincinnati Christian Morelein lager regular
Emergency mini Keg: Hofbrau Munchen, 5 liters. :p

If you have a hard time finding a particular type of alcohol try these 2 sites. Some of thee MOST extensive variety you'll find anywhere and fast shipping. Best way to burn through a couple of paychecks. LOL

theliquorbarn.com and thewhiskyshopusa.com both out of the Chicago area.

Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.

Certainly, no liquor here. I like to maintain a clear free mind. The sauce will get a man nowhere except perhaps the gutter. RGDS!

Nice pickups of the Pappy Van winkles @TurboSnail , @ricko was right on those…

I missed the thread the first time around but it was right around the time I stashed away a few ‘local flavors’

They are all single barrels selected by a couple grocery/spirt markets local to Louisiana.

It's all about what the people want...

Buffalo Trace is hard to find in my area. Happen to stop in right after a delivery and grabbed the maximum of 2 per customer. Also grabbed a bottle of Angels Envy. Grilling season is upon us. Looking forward to evenings on the deck with family, friends and good food!
