Very nice coins!
Nice coins!
Nice pair from both ends of my collecting spectrum! The Flying Eagle Cent - one of my favorites. The Columbian Commemorative Half Dollar - never cared for the design. No disrespect. If we all liked the same things that would be very boring.

Nice coins! The Flying Eagle looks like a 58 to me — isn't that light wear on the breast feathers and circulation discoloration in the fields? Just checked the original threads and seems most posters would agree. Is this a case of market grading bumping the coin to a 62?
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
I'm just going to call it a gift and not question it haha.
Seriously though, it looks like an AU to me.

As to the Flyer, I like it! It's got a nice looking Tru-view to boot! Going back to the original GTG thread it looks like insider2 had the best grasp on how it would grade.
Yes! Sadly it looks like he was banned before he could see the fruits of his labors.

In decades past that would have been a 58. Today 62 is market acceptable. Only the OP and the graders who saw the coin in hand have front row seats. Insider2 did see the "fruits of his labor."
I like the Flying Eagle cent... very nice. The Columbian Half is nostalgic for me... one of the 'wow' coins I first saw when I was a kid with a paper route....kept that coin for a long time....Cheers, RickO
Great results, congratulations !!!
