Wow that is awful on the Gibson. I do not have experience selling on EBay so cannot offer any advice but it is horrible that someone would lie about a defect to return something they regret buying.
I understand why people collect these cards as they are limited in numbers but they are an absolute affront to my eyesight. They have to be the ugliest sports cards I have seen since 1991 fleer.

This set certainly is not for everyone. Many cards are indeed head scratching but many are nice imho. To each their own, I guess.
I think I am most disappointed with the Joshua Vides cards. I didn't understand them at all until I looked him up to see what he normally does. All of them have the same theme. Basically take the original, get a sharpie and outline some parts and add some shading lines or stipple dots in a few areas. I guess he is in the fashion world and does mostly black and white line drawings. So now I understand why his cards are the way they are, but I guess his style of art just doesn't cross over well into sports cards. I don't want to pay $20 for any of these, but I will have to pickup the Mattingly when it comes out. I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm going to guess this is what the Don Mattingly will look like when he gets around to it.
He also seems to create a fake wobbly border, so maybe take that sharpie around the very edge of the card, leaving a little white and you’re right on the money. Maybe a little bolding of the pinstripes too. But I think you’re right - I know that art is subjective, but his cards do seem to be the most predictable.

I broke down and ordered 5 Mike Trout Project 2020 cards back on June 4th. Not received yet. Problem .. or is this normal.
I'm waiting on orders from 6/30 & 7/10 + a pre-order from eBay on 6/12. Sounds like I'll just have to keep waiting and be pleasantly surprised when they finally show up!
I had ordered on the 29th of may and still hadnt heard anything. I sent an email yesterday and got no response but wouldnt you know, I got a shipping conformation an hour later. Seems someone is napping on the job
While I realize that unforseen demand and the pandemic have both caused shipping delays for Topps, I can't deny that this length of time waiting for your first cards to arrive can take some excitement away from collecting these cards.
Agree. This is a print on demand product with relatively small print runs. A two card set could be printed, cut and assembled in a few days by a few people. So being 100 days behind is a joke and is not great for the set.

I'm working on all the Mattingly cards and I just received #269 from Ermsy today. When I add it to the stack I noticed the holder is different and smaller than the previous holders. Does this completely drive anyone else crazy or is it just me? Since I was planning on putting this in some type of display this will completely ruin that idea or make it more difficult to make look nice. The holder is smaller in all 3 dimensions including nearly 1/4" shorter in length.

That happened to me for the first time with the Rivera card above. The Clemente came in the same case as all the others and the Rivera came in a smaller case while being shipped together. When I brought this up to the FB Group, they said it has been happening lately and that Topps never specifically said that the cases will be the same size.
I see. I always had connected it to Berman, but never to Brett.
I agree that's it's not a term commonly associated with Brett. Even most diehard Royals fans are likely unaware of his supposed connection. I definitely don't think I would have included it on a card of this nature of Brett. Lots of other highlights or phrases would come to mind long before "Mendoza Line". Also, while Charlie Lau called him mullet head, later shortened to "Mullet", I believe more of his teammates actually referred to him by the nickname "Lou", if they weren't just calling him George.

Refund it. Save yourself the headache and remind yourself to stay outta the fads moving forward.

I 've got some extra Mister Cartoon Jackie Robinson's if anybody is interested. $20 shipped. paypal me at jasoneggert42@gmail.com
Here's my latest delivery. Topps has been very slow with deliveries. Understandable, but it still sucks.
Here's my Gibson that I had to give a refund to. Buyer said there were scratches....there are no scratches.

Yes.
I just got shipping notification of my Ryan by Vides that I bought on May 25.
Edit: Received on July 1.

Keith Shore isn't everyone's cup of tea, but this is a very clever card. Note the no name and Bo Jackson guest appearance, sort of.

The Big Mac today is interesting. I guess someone was going to do it, but that's not my cup of tea.

It's normal. Don't worry.
I am still waiting on cards ordered May 28. I understand the Covid factor, supply chain, shipping, etc. but these long wait times are terrible.
More like a wackey package

My oldest order that is still in processing is also 5/29. Maybe it will ship now that I mentioned it.....

I guess patience is a virtue, as they say.

Some look very cool, others not. I have so many other cards I'd buy before these but someday I might nab a few.
The projection(above) vs. reality (below) - not a bad effort!

Topps sent email on 08/08 stating the items are being shipped. 2 months 4 days.

Here's a couple additions that I just thought looked cool.
https://www.psacard.com/psasetregistry/pdub1819/othersets/6204
Was able to pick these up on Cyber Monday via topps.com. (not my photos)
https://www.psacard.com/psasetregistry/pdub1819/othersets/6204
cool how much were they? @pdub1819
They are typically $399, (you have a chance of a signed /99 or /20 or 1/1), but during Black Friday/Cyber Monday, I was able to get it for 40% off.

Seeing the cards coming out today, and understanding that Sophia Chang can be a bit off, https://topps.com/cards-collectibles/online-brands/topps-project-2020-card-353-1975-george-brett-by-sophia-chang.html What on earth does George Brett have to do with the Mendoza Line?
The urban legend is that George Brett actually came up with the description of a .200 hitter as being the Mendoza Line. I believe it's been debunked.
