1982 Small Date Zinc.

Hi everyone, I have two 1982 Small Date Zinc coins both have D/D, they both also have DDR and one has an extra ear lobe. Can anyone tell me if these type off coins are out there.
Thanks PhantomslayR

If you physically have them then they are absolutely real. As to weather or not they were struck by the US Mint will require clear detailed photos.

@PhantomslayR ....Welcome aboard.... We have top numismatist here...many recognized as experts in their chosen field....That being said, you will need to post pictures of your cents, particularly your areas of interest... So, picture of the obverse, reverse, enlarged, clear pictures of the questionable feature. Good luck, Cheers, RickO

Without even seeing pics, I'm going out on a limb and guess, Machine Doubling! :/

I believe I have one of these also I do know of Machine doubling ....but this is not like any Machine Doubling I have seen in any coin yet. Maybe someone could tell me if I have something here its a 1982 zinc small date with what looks to me like doubling on the reverse side of the penny from what I seen only 3 have been known to been found.

Sorry, for one thing. That coin is not a small date. Then, sorry, the dreaded machine doubling. :/

Mahalos Jimnight and joeykoins....Yeah like I said first time noticing such profound Machine doubling. Normally its more flat the doubling and not as raised. well I guess ill continue cherry picking the $100 worth of rolls I got and see if I get lucky. once again Mahalos for the insight and saving me the money from sending it out for grading and only find out it was a wast of time and money.

Sorry but it looks like mechanical doubling of possibly Die deterioration doubling , not hub doubling. I don't see any split seriphs

Edited to remove pics from the previous post of 7/28/20 (too much clutter)
