One ounce of gold or two ounces of platinum?

Gold $1588.
Platinum $772.
Ratio 2.057 to 1.
Where do we go from here?

At this rate, I'd go with the Platinum!

I've been pondering this question for days. The same $17K will get you either a roll of 1/4 oz American Gold Eagles (10 oz), or a roll of Platinum Eagles (20 oz).

It's a real toughie. Which would be better in the long run? I'm thinking that 10 oz of gold is more certain, while 20 oz of platinum has more potential.

High relief or ultra high relief ....

Technically I'd be short .325 (.9675) for the ounce, on the high relief. But I could live with the shortage

I think you mean 0.0325 Troy ounce.
