    The coin looks like a copper-nickel piece but the gold looks like gold with quartz? still attached to it.

    Beautiful for sure. toss the quarter! At least flip it over so we know what state it represents and where the gold came from!

    I'm a fan of the gold + quartz combo. I picked up a ring in Anchorage a few years ago with the gold/quartz setting. Awesome piece.
