Ditto! Longer deep fins exist but this is the highest for me.

Back in the late 1980's, one of the guys in my office who knew that I was into collecting coins give me a new dime that wouldn't fit the slot in the vending machine because the rim was too thick. He gave it to me for face value. I examined it with my magnifier and saw that there was a fin on one side that doubled the thickness of the edge. I still have it somewhere with all the other stuff that I saved over the years.

I can’t post pictures at the moment, but I have one on a Lincoln Civil War token that is huge.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

I have one on a pewter medal I struck. The fin on it is over 1 inch high. I'll have to look and see if it is still there in the reject/recycle bin.
