@1951WheatiesPremium, Thanks Tim. I was hesitant to start it over here but I chat with you guys pretty regularly and don’t hang around the other sports card thread so figured we could do our own thing in this thread. I love all the stuff here, the modern GI Joe stuff is pretty cool. A close friend of mine has one of the best collections of GI Joe stuff in the country, he has pretty much everything Vintage Joe you can find. He actually has a Nurse and some very rare State Trooper Joe stuff that I didn’t know existed

I collect a little bit of everything, vintage and modern, but my main focus right now is Joe Louis. I've just become obsessed with him. I'm always on the lookout for anything Joe Louis. I watched a documentary about him a while back, and just became fascinated with him and his era. Watching the old black and white footage of his fights, his 11 year reign as heavyweight champion, I just can't get enough of it. I need serious help. As a matter of fact, I just got finished not 30 minutes ago making a deal with a guy on Ebay for an original 1939 newspaper with Joe Louis on the front knocking out "Two Ton" Tony Galento. I need counseling.
Thought you might be interested in these auctions I spotted this morning.

Wow! Beautiful stuff! I actually have my hands full at the moment with some Joe Louis stuff from a seller in Germany. It's so difficult to get deals done with people that don't understand what I'm saying to them. It's frustrating. I'm having to translate his messages, and he's having to translate my messages. I have been dealing with this all day. It's taking forever. I appreciate the link though, and thank you for remembering me.
