Hello, first time poster here. I have recently begun getting into coins and found an interesting nickel. I was hoping to get your thoughts and opinions on it
@TheRani....Welcome aboard.... Your nickel has what is called 'machine doubling'....It is not uncommon and has no numismatic value .....I suggest you get a Redbook to help you learn more... and also a Cherry Pickers Guide to help you with varieties. Good luck and continue to ask questions here... there are incredible experts on this forum. Cheers, RickO

Agree (with the experts, no less ).
A little machine doubling along with extremely worn and deteriorated dies.
If it were mine I might keep it as a sample of these anomalies.
