Bumping an old thread with some new Jumbo Mickey’s. A few were raw earlier in the thread but I think they look really good slabbed. I’ve posted these in a couple of threads because I am still feeling the afterglow. And I missed them while they were gone.

Beautiful cards everyone, had a 53, 61 and several others that helped me get the below. It’s not perfect, however focus and nice print are there.
The focus is outstanding on that card. It is almost impossible to find one with centering/focus/registration etc... You have added a real beauty. Congrats.
This just arrived today and I am majorly pumped. In addition to the signature, I think it will also be highest graded. A really beautiful copy of a beautiful collectible - one of two items (that I know of that ) that were both mass produced and feature a photo of Mickey clad in the number 6, way back in his rookie year in the Spring of 1951. The autograph has been graded already but I will be sending this to PSA for encasement soon.

The '67 Mantle card always made me kind of sad. In fact, all the cards after 1960--he looks like he aged so suddenly.
Bishop, what is the beautiful tin piece in the barnwood frame!?! Just beautiful!

I sold off all my Mantle's over the last year plus to help buy a house, but have that itch again. Started picking up low-mid grade copies, here are a few recent ones:

What's the story on the raw 52T?
I will guess "altered stock" from a screw down holder. IMO, this is not truly altered when you compare it with most nefarious practices.
Here are my Mantles. Most are in sets or subsets that I have completed.
