Attractive coin. It looks like secondary toning. Wingtip on viewer's left appears flat and appears to have some wear. If it was an open collar coin, this may have been related to its strike (you often see this with Unc Capped Bust Halves). The head appears a bit of flat and lacks some detail. Despite the grade given, I would have guessed an AU 58.
