My recently TV’d Newp

I recently bought an 1846-D $2.50, PCGS graded XF40. Taking advantage of the host’s quarterly special, I sent it in for reholder under Gold Shield service. I also had the holder corrected to show the 1846-D/D variety attribution. The remainder of my Dahlonega collection is mainly AU55 to 58 (with some in MS), but I was attracted to this XF’s deep russet color and the strong, easily identified first mint mark strike. I think PCGS did a great job on the photos and captured as close as possible what the coin looks like in hand.
I don’t have grandchildren yet, so I will bore you folks with photos of my coins!!

That’s a very nice looking coin with clean surfaces, attractive coloring, and great eye appeal. Well done!
That’s a really nice coin and a very under appreciated variety
Latin American Collection
Another cool feature - early die strikes in this variety give the appearance of a ‘drooling eagle’ (contrast the 1891-CC Spitting Eagle). Too nerdy?
I like it VERY much
Congrats

Fellas, leave the tight pants to the ladies. If I can count the coins in your pockets you better use them to call a tailor. Stay thirsty my friends......

Love Rebel Gold. Only problem, when you whup a C or D on it the price goes waaay up. Edit, you aren't boring me with that coin.
@Winchester1873 I definitely agree with @smudge that your coin is hardly boring! What a really nice coin. You have every right in the world to be proud.
