Did you find a good coin in a roll?

A reporter for a major news organization is writing a story about searching for coins through rolls and would like to talk to collectors who have successfully found a valuable coin or two this way. (W mint mark quarters included as well as more valuable items.) Send me a private message or email me and I can give you more info. Donn Pearlman at Donn.Pearlman at gmail dot com

The last good coin I found was a WLH in a roll of halves... all the rest were Kennedy's...and not silver. Cheers, RickO

Thank you, RickO.
Still looking for any collectors who have found "good stuff" by searching through rolls. Anyone else?

I got a box of all new nickels in 2016 and found a rare error worth a few thousand dollars .
And no, I don't need more competition at the banks trying to get coins to search.
I bought $200 in Washington dollar coins and found 187 without edge writing. Sold them the next day for a tidy sum.
Thank you to those who have responded. I need a collector or collectors who are willing to talk to a reporter and be identified by name (or at least give your name confidentially to the reporter, but only be identified in the story by first name and perhaps only city or state in which you live).
Yes, and no.
Yes I found a silver dime in hand change a few weeks ago. Still around.

I know a guy who has done remarkably well with searching boxes for the 2019 West Point quarters (over 2,500 so far). He doesn't care to go public while the hunt is still ongoing.

There were some good finds posted here.https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/1007030/whats-the-best-coin-and-paper-money-you-found-at-the-bank#latest

no doubt is the reason I can't get a shotgun roll of new quarters anywhere.
the armored truck carriers are full of them. you just gotta get your bank to get you some.

I appreciate the comments from all who have responded, but again, **I am specifically seeking a collector or collectors who are willing to talk to a reporter and be identified by name ** (or at least give your name confidentially to the reporter, but only be identified in the story by first name and perhaps only city or state in which you live). If you fit the above description, please email me at Donn dot Pearlman at gmail dot com. Thank you, thank you, and in case I neglected to mention it earlier, thank you.
I just found a 1905 Indian head cent in XF condition in a roll of cents.
Long time ago I bought a nice 1946-D from a guy that had a freshly opened roll. Couple yrs passed and I realized it was a D/lazy D. I wonder how many more were in that roll!
I found a 1994 FS-801 DDR Lincoln cent in a roll once. It graded MS-63 RED and I sold it for around $150.
I also found 3 1943-P Double Eye nickels in a BU 1943-P roll. One of them graded MS-65 6 steps at ANACS. I think I sold the 3 for a total of around $700.
I really want one just can find one. Search $6000+ in quarters

I found an 1865 3 cent nickel in F-VF in the middle of a roll of generic Mercury dimes.
