ANA Newps

Well NEWP from a picture standpoint.

After a day and a few hours on the floor I ended up with three coins in my general interest area. The first two are currently unpictured and are at PCGS for crossover....

The first purchase of the show was a Peruvian Ferdinand VII 4R in N63. In my opinion it is a solid for the grade and unadulterated coin for what is a very tough denomination in any grade, let alone in mint state. The eye appeal is OK, nothing special but a tough coin.

The second purchase was the highlight of my show, acquiring a 1758 Guatemala Pillar in MS63. A wonderfully original and well struck coin from a very difficult mint. Thanks MrE!

My final purchase and only one pictured was from late Wednesday at a US dealers table. I am putting together a denomination set of Cap & Rays and needed a very attractive 2R. This piece fit well with colorful toning not often seen on this hoard date. While available in MS66 and a few even in 67, this is the first piece that I have seen with enough eye appeal to buy it.
