That is a pretty common coin (I have at least three or four uncirculated rolls sitting here).
And although the coin shown has a lot of little struck-through particles on Kennedy's head, it appears to be in relatively high grade (quite a bit better than the average example).

Very very common but not in the condition yours is in.
    67-

  • Oh, this is not my coin. I have one similar to this as well. Just one of my favorites. Its grade is a 67+ from PCGS. Really nice coin. 🤤

    My minus, their plus :)

Too many marks on the cheek and neck to merit a 67, let alone a 67+.

OP's question is not about the coin displayed (which is not his) but about the coin itself.

I love them. But a quarter billion of the copper-nickel clad were minted and they will never be valuable. An MS66 can be had for $20 or so.

That is a nice example of the bicentennial half. They are not particularly collectible, as noted above...but necessary to complete the series. I would not invest a lot of money unless you are doing a registry set....Cheers, RickO

Look at the word "UNITED" on the reverse too. There is no way that coin should grade MS-67.

In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

There is nothing wrong in the area of "UNITED" - only a luster pattern causing light to reflect away from the camera lens.

  • Thanks for the links. About how long has it taken some of you collectors to get a full registry set??? If anyone?

That is what I thought also.
