That’s about all cats are good for.
Actually they're good for some free entertainment. It's fun sitting on my back porch watching my dog chase the ones that are dumb enough to hop over my fence.

You have sleeves and top loaders in your glove box. You never know.
Started keeping a bag each of top loads, penny sleeves, team set bags and graded card bags in the glove box last year and have needed them all at some point....
When you start asking your friends to stash cards at there house, because you run out of hiding places in your own house. Let's just see my wife find them at Steven's house.

Your wife lets you have friends?
Yes, but she interviews them, then drug tests them first. If they pass, then I get to have a friend.😉

This is Johnny the Gimp, one of dragon's friends. Unfortunately he was detained by Mrs Dragon's security team. Not for doing drugs but instead was apprehended while smuggling Joe Louis cards in for dragon under his spaceman loincloth.
.....your anniversary gift from your significant other is a ticket stub from The Knack concert which she found wedged inside an old copy of Tiger Beat magazine.
How does Maury stay on the air? All his shows ever are is "you are or are not the father"
And lie detector tests are nowhere near as infallible (they can't be used as evidence for very good reason) as shows like Steve Wilkos (who you would think more than anyone would know better) make you believe. I don't understand how they can get away with that and not be super legally liable for slander/libel if someone who "fails" a lie detector turns out to be innocent (or vice versa).
And for that matter how do they even get guests to appear on shows like that? Who in their right (or even not-so-right) mind would choose to go on national TV (and of course later YouTube and such) to make such a fool of themselves? These shows must be faked/staged in someway...
I don’t know. Plenty of people freely make fools of themselves every day. Some of them don’t even know it. There are examples on this page of this thread, for instance.

Getting back on topic. I always thought the guests were card collectors and the producers paid them in cases of '88 Donruss!
Lawnmowermanswife! Lawnmowerman you are lucky! I wish to heck my wife would join me on the forum. She's glued to the TV as we speak, watching Chicago PD the complete first season on DVD. No interest whatsoever in my hobby. That's OK dear, because I don't care what case Sergeant Hank Voight is working on.

Haha. Yeah she used to post here years ago and I was quite surprised how quickly she learned card lingo. She's pretty knowledgeable about Cowboys history as well. She can rattle off the Cowboys starting QBs since Roger Staubach no problem lol.

That she is. I can go on and on about her but wouldn't want to bore anyone with that. I just figured I'd mention her sports coolness kinda like your chicka with the Sox

You call Ebay to ask why it is conspiring against you by running Ebay bucks promotions up to the day before your watched item ends.
You know you're a hardcore collector when...
You joined the military in 1991 hoping to grab a box of Topps Desert Storm
You buy the house on 582 Montgomery St. hoping to find some old Topps momentos
You go to family reunions just to network to hopefully find your older relatives cards
You only check your mail when you know there's a card in there
