Beautiful collection and wonderful article.
One of the best things about this forum is getting to see some of the cards that end up in the SMR in real time and UFFDAH has posted so many show stopping cards since he has joined.
Great article and wishing you continued success.
I want to hate you out of jealousy, but I just can't. Solid collection. Have loved that brown since you announced the upgrade from PSA! Great stuff brother!
Awesome stuff. Love the Norm Van Brock PSA 8.5 . Always thought that was a cool card!
Very cool article and amazing collection. I REALLY like that Orr!

Congratulations Chris.

Thanks for the link in the OP and congrats to Chris. It's always fun to see when he posts a new pickup. For some reason I am smitten with his '52 Bowman Stan Musial, and it's nice to see the group photos in the article.
Chris, awesome collection and SMR article. The Mantle looks fantastic.
Congrats, Tony
I'm a little speechless right now. I noticed this post this AM while sitting in my Turkey hunting blind. I was out just for fun this AM watching and listening because I got a nice Tom Gobbler yesterday. I'm a card Dork and a hunting Dork. I really appreciate everyone on this forum because you are all true to the hobby and appreciate the passion. Not many have the fire in the belly...BUT WE do!!! And that's all that matters!!! Keep collecting and enjoy the "hunt"!!!
Congratulations to a well deserved member. Great looking collection, especially the signed Aaron

Exceptional Stan Musial example.
Stone, pretty sure Star Bucks(Starbucks) is one word, LOL. Chris, unbelievable collection!! Over the years have you kept a record of what you paid for the cards? I would bet your "investment" has outgained any other type investments!!
Awesome article, it looks like you and I started around the same time collecting as a kid.
Great article. Would love to see the PSA 10 Ken Dryden rookie if you'd like to share here!
-Nathanael
Chris, you have a great collection, and it's great to see your excitement and passion.
Really cool article. Congrats on the recognition of your collection
Awesome collection and great article!
@ElvisP - big paper gain thus far.
@Frozencaribou - will post a pic of the Dryden when I get back to the office. I think the Dryden rookie is not only a great hockey card but an epic card in all of collecting. It's a must have card in my opinion.
Very nice story. I enjoy reading about our board members and am in awe of their cards and pursuits. Nicely done by the author too.
Top of the morning!! Here is the Dryden as requested. It has since been re-holdered. This is the scan image from PWCC.
Wow. Most impressed by the lack of print spots on the image and yellow background. What a beautiful card! Thanks for sharing.
-Nathanael
That is a Beast of a 10!!! Wowsers.
Great collection Chris (UFFDAH)
I have always wondered how one would consistently acquire these gems. I assume most of these cards in Gem Mint 10's rarely hit the market. You must do a lot of homework and networking to find them!

great story congrats Chris
Great write up and beautiful collection. Just out of curiosity, what is the alteration on the 52 Mantle?
Congrats @UFFDAH ! I read the article not knowing it was you, but it makes sense now. It was really refreshing to see someone with a collection similar to my own (all over the place). Keep bringing the heat in the monthly pickup threads,

Wow awesome collection Chris.!!! It's good to see a fellow collector in Wisconsin and especially one with such high end items. Keep up the good work.
Jeff
Please allow me to ask a very serious question... Why the heck do you need a hunting blind to catch a freakin' turkey??
