If they decided to put a mouse head on one side and "no cash value" on the other, I'd have about the same interest level. It's long past the time to end these "programs". Let's make our circulating coins beautiful again and worthy of collecting.
Aaaagreed. Long over due to retire the dead Presidents already and get back to allegorical designs.
Special programs reek of condescension and I don't like them. Still, I'd have some fun with this:
1) Divine (the 300 pound plus transvestite in "Pink Flamingos)"
2) Lizzie Borden
3) We can go international and include former 'female' gold medalist Tamara Press
"Vou invadir o Nordeste, "Seu cabra da peste, "Sou Mangueira......."
The biggest problem is kind of the same problem the innovation dollars have. Not every state has somebody/something notable but then some states have 20 people you could nominate.

It seems appropriate that the final designs were chosen by Janet Yellen. The problem is when engraved into coins, the brunettes will have silver hair.
Are you suggesting the series has copper, gold, and perhaps black ruthenium also to match hair colors? Now you're talking!

2022 These are just line drawings but what do you think of them? It's really a dramatic change to our change.

I don't like the new designs and this is just another USM Quarter series that is not needed. This may be the end of my quarter collection.

If the mint uses a person on the obverse and the reverse - this will be a magicians coin series - 2 heads & no tails.
