I like it, the rim hit is pretty minor to me. Looks liks decent color/patina, almost looks like a bit of residue in the upper obverse field, but that could just be the image. Is there a die crack on the eagles right talon ?
Regardless, overall a very nice coin.
It is a decent looking coin with original surfaces, but if VF-30 adds something to the value, as opposed to VF-20, I think that the grade is a bit generous.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

I'd pass. I think the 30 is a bit generous and I don't like rim nicks.
Looks pretty solid and original for the grade to me.
Half dollars are big, heavy coins and I'd expect a few minor contact marks/rim nicks compared to a half dime or dime.
Yes, it's a tough date, and I'm also surprised it CAC'd.....
"NP" ?
New Purchase
I’m still learning and a newbie but in my rookie opinion I think the coin is beautiful

It's a VF30. I think it'll probably CAC
Personally, it's not a VF30 to me. But it's a solid coin
Nice old coin... I think the grade is likely right if the coin were viewed in hand... pictures can be a bit harsh. Cheers, RickO
