Email them with a photo request.
very good idea. thank you
Everything I have purchased has been of the exact coin. They may sell more modern stuff with a stock photo?
There listings on ebay say most are stock photos.
They do sell with stock photos but they will put up a picture of a coin that you are wanting so you can see it. Just keep calling them and someone there will answer the phone. I used to deal with them a lot as they are just down the street from my house and just had them put up new picture of a coin I was interested in just the other day. Unfortunately I don't deal with them so much as I used to because of the tax situation.
Good luck to you
Haven't bought anything from them in a while but when I did I received what was in the photo.

Our phone lines are currently down. Frontier says they should be back up by the end of today.
We do use stock photos as we have multiples in stock for many coins. However, we're more than happy to check on classic coins if the pictured coin is in stock or take new photos if the pictured coin is not in stock. This applies to our website or marketplaces like eBay and Amazon. Just let us know what coin(s) you're interested in. As the phones are currently down, I would recommend emailing us at lccoins@lccoins.com.

If things are still the same the storefront is by appointment only. I bought a really really nice 1951 P 66 Red from them.
with a little investigating found out the coins i was interested in are just sock photos. thanks to eveyrone that gave me their input. semper fi
stock my bad
Every certified coin I've bought from their main website matched the photo.
I can't make that statement about their eBay listings, as I've never purchased their material there.
Good luck,
Dave
That's if they haven't sold 1 before in the same grade! I absolutely disagree with stock photos and refuse to use them. You would be surprised how many people on ebay ask if I use stock photos....even on slabbed coins with the slab pictured along with the cert # listed!
L & C Coins - I have had several perfectly fine recent transactions with them. No problems.
I've bought coins with them twice. I would recommend them.

Over the past 16+ yrs, I've bought several coins from LCcoins and I've never had a single problem at all.

I've bought from them... always certified examples. Every coin I've bought had the correct image paired to it when they were selling it.
Some of the best to deal with in my book.

They use stock photos for less expensive coins.
They've got some interesting 66 SMS Kennedy's with some nice color and bad photos ;-) (Yeah I know they're on here maybe this will make them work on their photos 😉) I bought some

Good testimonials for L&C COINS... I will check them out...Might have something I want - not sure what that would be, but I will know it when I see it... Cheers, RickO
I have dealt with them for years and they are good honest people.
I highly recommend them.
Very much so. They just need to invest in a set of ring lights for photos 😉

Cool I was looking at some of thief stuff. T.y for the info
