Good evening, folks;
With thanks to Bajjerfan, a multi-year search came to an end today with the arrival of this elusive beauty below. It is a CAC'd PCGS 35. I hope you enjoy the photos, presented with Bajjerfan's consent. They are his, and spot on. Whit.

looks perfect for the grade,congrats!
Very nice problem-free piece.
Really, really nice. Congrats!
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
Nice even wear and very original .

I don’t love money . I do love the Lord God.
Very nice!

Fields are so clean for a 35. Very nice.
Just the kind of circulated coin just about everyone enjoys. Congrat's!

Great looking walker!!!!
HAPPY COLLECTING
Beautiful coin from a terrific issue and a great series.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
if every VF35 looked like that I could be convinced to start a collection of them.
Very nice old WLH.... great condition - commerce wear but no damage....A favorite coin of mine....and I can remember carrying them in my pocket as a young fellow...I wish I had saved a bunch of them. Cheers, RickO
A beautiful circ Walker!
Beautiful example - the reverse looks to be an easy XF.
Also I think it is 'condition scarce' at this grade level.
I recall owning 3 AUs, and a couple VGs, but had two customers needing
this date in VF, and not being able to locate any in over a year.
Very nice coin and most certainly is!
Congratulations!
That’s how I want all my circ stuff to look.
Very nice. Love the obverse MM Walkers.
Eye appeal is excellent and it is properly graded. Nice coin!
Super nice, and yes the 16-S is very tough in nice, original circulated grades. I have an XF-45 purchased from @TomB some years ago - and haven't seen a nice one until this posting!
Now can someone post (or locate) a nice XF 1917-S reverse mintmarked piece (graded or raw)? That's supposed to be a 'common' date.

Another interesting conditional coin....AU's are ALMOST plentiful (by early walker standards)....higher grade circs in XF, not so much.....
Sold this one awhile back.
Still got this one which I'm keeping. You're right in that it's common, but tough to find nice. Have not seen one I'd buy in quite a spell. If there was one I'd a snagged it.
Lots of Walker eye candy in this thread......Congrats to one and all!!

Nice looking coin!
Very nice looking coin for the grade! Congrats on getting it BAJJERFAN!
Which one?
I was talking about the first one but they both are very nice pick ups @BAJJERFAN
beautiful 16 s !
OH OK thanks.
A couple other cheap commons I'm keeping that are hard to find nice raw or slabbed; at least they were for me. The line on the reverse of the 1920 is a shadow from a scratch on the slab.
Nice Walker I like
Very wholesome coin! So glad you posted a pic. Do you have pics of the collection?

Good evening, Catbert;
No, I don't have pictures, though I have read Mark Goodman's book several times and I have followed discussions on photography here with great interest. Coin photography is a post-retirement goal.
Thanks to all who commented!
And good night ....

I like the "VF" better than the "XF ".
The 1916-S is a tough coin....Unless you want a G-4, or an MS coin. I just picked mine up a few weeks ago. (Lower grade....but not a G-4).
Nice pickup and a great looking coin.
Very nice, I love them like that.
Another beautifully circulated Walker posted by TommyType. Thank you for showing. I was at the Danbury CT coin show today, and saw no TPG mid-graded WLHs.
Good night.
