What a total cream puff! Similar toning on the reverse?

I really like that "La Semeuse" design as well, and they seem to tone up really nice! Good catch! And thanks for the report.

    Kind regards,

    That looks wonderful.

Love those “bargain” dark side pieces, lots of bang for the buck.

Great looking example of a great design. Certainly one of the inspirations for the design of our Walking Liberty Half/Silver Eagle.

Wow - nice! I'll bet that's a stunner in hand.

Spent a little time there today, didn't see anything for me, had a nice chat with Swampboy and a few other non-forum friends.

Took a box of Doilies with gold coins to show a dealer who I thought would enjoy seeing them - looked to be stifling a yawn as he quickly went through them..... :D

Very nice! I'm pretty sure I saw it in the case, and it looked pretty there. I almost asked about a piece of old French gold, but when I realized it was going to be a hefty chunk of change, I decided I was better off doing a little research and perhaps finding a cheaper date, considering it was just something that looked nice instead of something I had any intention of finding.
