Not my biggest find in "junk", but one of my favorites.

    "Show me"?

    Show you?

    No.

A "Birds Over Junk" set in a bowl? Nice find!

Some real nice 'junk' silver.... I have not had such good fortune in that area...If I ever get to another coin show I will be sure to check all the junk boxes... ;) Cheers, RickO

    Two stories:

    1. Bought and sold now, but the guy that I bought it from who is a good friend bought an 1870-CC quarter in a junk bin in Scotland for 1$ in the 1980s. Whaaaaatt???

    2. My father, before he started collecting coins but wanted to invest in bullion, bought an 1874 20$ from his aunt, who sold it to him after her husband, who had just passed away, brought it back from Australia in WWII. Turned out to be a proof!!!! Whaaaaaaaaaaatttttt????????

Those are the best two I have...
