whenever you see a dirty old gold™ coin in a pcgs old green holder at auction, please don't bid on it. i mean, c'mon people! help me out here. really! i cannot afford to place all these outrageously high bids, and i must win.
just bid on something else. pay too much for a toner, or an ngc black label, or something. seriously. thank you.
ps: post your dirty gold in old green holders (that you probably outbid me on, sheesh!) and i'll consider your forgiveness. even if you have posted it before, do it here so we can get the word out in this thread.

I haven't bought any gold since it was about $4 or $500 an ounce. I'm guilt free!
I love gold!
I have been unknowingly helping you out all along.
But thanks for prompting me to be on the lookout for these hidden gems.

Just sold this one at the Buena Park Coin Show this weekend...
Michael Kittle Rare Coins --- 1908-S Indian Head Cent Grading Set --- No. 1 1909 Mint Set --- Kittlecoins on Facebook --- Long Beach Table 448
I wish you luck in your quest... however, gold coins are a weakness for me... so not sure I will be able to control myself in all cases... Cheers, RickO
@steveben I know right! They should be melted and made into something useful like a shoehorn or something... Who in there right mind would bid on those...
only 1 photo? ok, i guess only mike, @illini420, is in my good graces.
nice coin mike! i saw that at long beach and it's very nice.

SteveBen -- I'm shocked!!! No gold CAC stickers on those double eagles?? They look nice...my fav of the two is the 59-S...

Coin "Discovery" is,Cool, David _
I usually get out bid on clean gold coins. They don't have to be dirty or in Old Green Label Holders. They don't even need CAC stickers. I still get out bid or run up. It's the nature of auctions.
not yet...
thanks!
and the mountain $20...have you seen the latest kagin ana auction?
