Hello guys, new here and I am a pcgs member, but I recently bought an 1853 no arrows seated liberty coin,, very rare coin with no mint history,, the issue is that this coin looks legit,,, there are no arrows by the date,, buuuut the issue is the back,, there are Rays on this coin, and I've looked at 100s that do not have Rays and I have not found one that does have them, the community's 2 cents would be greatly appreciated

Welcome. The presence of rays on the reverse means that there were arrows on the obverse and that they were removed. You do not have a legitimate no-arrows example.

See my reply to this question in the other forum where you posted. Welcome to CU. Try what I suggested.
Are these coming out of Bolivia?
Maybe @burfle23 has something from his research.
One of his research projects.

The 1853 quarter is not a counterfeit coin, but rather, a genuine one which has been altered.

The arrows have been removed. Take a look at a thread from earlier today re. 1853 quarter no arrow with rays where arrows have been removed.

Well those are 49s,, and he appears to beemtioning strictly hole filled or repaired coins,,, I jus dont see any evidence of the arrow area being damaged,, and honestly I bought this in Virginia, my buddy had a shit load of em and I noticed this one cause it was a 53 with no arrows,, he wanted 15 for it cause he graded it as a low end 1853, so I dont honestly know if it's from Bolivia
Skier07--- that is an interesting thread, that coin does had blatantly obvious tool Marks, this does not and with the coloration and smoothness of the area if it was tooled it was quite a long time ago or very good artificial toning
I think he was asking if the 420 was from bolivia dude
I see depressions to the left of the 1, and missing denticles in that area.
Bronco- I honestly dont understand then ahha
