As a child, I received an IHC as change when I bought some candy from the gas station near the elementary school (when Eisenhower was president). I asked the owner whether he was sure this penny was real, because I said, "all pennies have President Lincoln on them." He looked at me, smiled, and said, "yes Jeffrey, it's a real cent. It's just very old."
